Man these are tough times, especially if you’re going shopping for home furniture, such as dining room tables or buffets. The economy seems to think it was set up on a pair of skis for the first time, got pushed off the chair lift at the top of the steepest mountain around, and was told to find its way down to the bottom. It’s times like these when people who don’t have faith are having a really hard time getting by. Thankfully, I’m not one of them, I do believe in faith, and I believe that things will come around, eventually. The unfortunate part of it, is that we can’t just stop and give up, which is what we want to do, especially when we’re finding out checking accounts, 401k’s and retirement packages stuck to the back of those same skis, trying to find their way to the bottom of the barrel, or mountain.
But, as they say, the show must gone, we have to continue eating, sleeping, breathing, and in my case, it involved continuing the remodel of my home, because I couldn’t just stop halfway through. So, instead I got smarter. I shopped for the bargains, I did my own remodeling, and suddenly I became fluent in all things home remodeling. The best part was being able to spot a great deal, like I did with eBuffet. I found these beautiful discount sideboards that really took my home to the next level in terms of decoration and style. If the trip down the mountain is mandatory, I’m going to at least enjoy the view.
