I love to have company over, especially on a beautiful afternoon. So, we planned to have this great barbecue over the weekend, when it was supposed to be warm and sunny. It was all set, everyone was coming, and everyone was looking forward to my famous grilled ribs. So when the day finally arrived, and it was raining, actually pouring is much more accurate, I was devastated. I had no idea what I was going to do. I had so much food prepared to be outside, and had no idea what to do. Thankfully I had ordered a living room buffet a few weeks prior to the party to hold some of my things and display some mementos and pictures (which it does so beautifully), when I realized that was the answer. The sideboard could serve as my food serving area. It held my platters like a dream, and the party was still a success, despite the flooding and record rain fall. Yes, I still cooked the ribs, outside, in my rain poncho, that really didn’t help whatsoever, but I’ll admit, it was worth it, they were probably the best yet. It was all made possible thanks to the heavenly sideboard I ordered from eBuffet!
