I love having my friends and family come over to my house all the time, because there’s nothing better than a houseful of people in my opinion! It’s fun to gather everyone together to hang out, talk and catch up, and of course, EAT! Since I host often, I will ask my guests to bring a dish when they come, so that I’m not always cooking and cleaning, and it makes it fun for me too to try the dishes they bring. The only problem I run into sometimes is that my guests don’t have anywhere to put their plates and glasses. And then it came to me, I need some living room tables!
Living room tables are a great addition to any home, because you can put your photos or knickknacks there everyday, and then clear the tabletops when you entertain to give your guests a place to set their plates or glasses when they are gathering in groups and chatting away. Just make sure to put coasters on the living room and dining room tables so that you don’t find watermarks on them after everyone leaves. I think part of entertaining and making everyone comfortable is to have more than enough food and beverages, comfortable seats, and plenty of tables around the house.
