When you have a huge family, that means to feed them you need a lot of food.  There is usually no place in a regular sized home to put all that food and still have a place to sit down.  That is why buffet tables are the perfect setting for family feasts.  With all the food you are going to make you want to have a place where your loved ones can line up and grab some great food.

That leaves more space on the dining table and kitchen nook for people to actually sit together and enjoy the food and each other’s company.  Buffet tables also serve a double purpose by being a great storage device for utensils and serving spoons.  Of course, if you need more storage room, a sideboard might be more up your alley.
